Nestled within the former grounds of a nearby barn, this unique luxury train carriage overlooks the picturesque Dunston Hall golf course. Surrounded by lush greenery, yet conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from Norwich, it offers a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility.
The property boasts a private fenced garden, welcoming your furry friends, with ample parking space available. Additionally, guests can indulge in the luxury of a hot tub while soaking in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
Accessed via a gravel driveway and a private road, the local area offers serene walks through Dunston Hall grounds, just a short 10-minute stroll away. Guests can also explore the renowned Dunston Hall, featuring a hotel bar and restaurant within walking distance.
The property includes an outdoor barbecue, shower, and toilet facilities for added convenience.
Should you wish to accommodate extra guests with tents (max 2), inform us before your stay.
Each additional guest will be charged at £15 per night.
You have access to the Railway carriage and the garden.
You can bring one dog, although we ask that your furry friend not be on the bed or furniture, so we recommend bringing a dog bed for their comfort.
Please note that while the hot tub is available for use, we cannot be held responsible for any faults during your stay. Rest assured, we will make every effort to promptly address any issues that may arise.
You will always check in to a clean property and don’t have to worry about cleaning up before you go. This is all included in the cleaning fee.
By the time you arrive, you’ll receive an email with a key code from the key box and all necessary instructions on how to access the property. But just in case you have any questions, we are always a call away.
While you may have the house to yourself, you won’t be alone when it comes to planning your trip. We are more than happy to help you with local activities and recommendations.
And if you want to truly experience what Norfolk has to offer, check out the ‘Ginger and Gold blog’ where you can find all the top recommendations for restaurants, museums, activities for couples and most romantic restaurants, all chosen by locals.
We have a few rules to ensure we keep our properties in the best condition for your arrival.
1. No smoking, please. (apart from the outside areas – use the ashtrays provided)
2. Maintain the property in good repair during your stay (as you find it upon entry).
Quiet hours are between 9 pm and 8 am on weekdays and 11 pm and 8 am on weekends.
And you don’t have to worry; we know that accidents occur occasionally, resulting in damage (we would not charge for one-off crockery breakages, for example). We kindly ask if anything does get broken to let us know before checkout. We are very understanding and responsible for keeping the property in good repair for all our guests.
We require digitally signed terms of stay the first time you book with us – send via an email link. This helps to ensure the property is kept in excellent condition for all our lovely guests to enjoy. Should you wish to accommodate extra guests with tents, simply inform us before your stay. Each additional guest will be charged at £15 per night.
